We are a blended group of individuals, backgrounds, professions and interests. We like to feel good, exercise, move well and think positively. Our goal is to help you achieve yours! Whether you are looking to quickly heal from an acute injury or reduce body aches and pains from ongoing chronic pain we are here to teach you the way to movement freedom. DR. CHY |

Dr. Chynna Chan, D.C, attended Slippery Rock University, where she earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Exercise Science. From there, she went on to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Northeast College of Health Sciences, graduating with honors and awards, including the 2021 Student of the Year award, as well as the Frank E. Dean Memorial award. She was also the president of the Rehab2Performance club, and earned her certifications in Advanced Whole Foods Nutrition and Sports & Human Performance.

Dr. Chynna has always been passionate about sports performance and rehab, especially after experiencing two ACL tears & reconstruction surgeries while playing lacrosse from the high school to collegiate level. She is dedicated to helping you recover from any injuries, assessing and treating the areas of the complaints using chiropractic care, as well as assessing your overall functionality to help you level up your fitness. In her free time, Dr. Chynna enjoys watching the UFC, hiking, and getting up and active!

DR. DAN | CREATOR OF BEAT FITNESS

Dr. Daniel Turack D.C., M.S.H.N, is a Chiropractor and Nutritionist that has a deep interest in the health of the human body. He has extensive post graduate training in Manual therapy techniques including soft tissue diagnosis and treatment, functional movement assessment, rehabilitation, as well as functional nutrition, detoxification and lab diagnostic work. When working with individuals, Dr. Dan takes great pride in their whole body health as well as their families. He will w ork with you to establish an appropriate course of treatment and clearly defined goals that will track your progress throughout care. Dr. Dan has a special interest in amateur and professional athletes, and works with them to optimize their performance and extend their careers. In his free time, Dr. Dan enjoys Crossfit, exercising, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and anything that is outside and active.

TOM | INSTRUCTOR AT BEAT FITNESS

Tom is a trainer at Beat Fitness. With a background in sports, as well as an avid gym goer, his passion has reached into his work. Having trained clients for over a year now, he seeks to continue to make his community a stronger and healthier one. Having dealt with multiple injuries as an athlete and weightlifter, he understands the hurdles many need to overcome on their journey back to health; sticking with members every step of the way. Having worked and trained with people from every demographic, Tom seeks to find the best approach for any and every client that he encounters. In working at Beat, he has found a passion for Chiropractic care and the GOATA movement system being utilized for overall health. Tom will be pursuing a career in chiropractic care at the Palmer College of Chiropractic Care in Iowa in March to continue to help the community stay healthy.

CHRIS | INSTRUCTOR AT BEAT FITNESS

With a Master’s Degree in Exercise, Science Chris has taught K-6 Elementary Health & Physical Education since 2001. In addition to teaching, Chris has worked for 2 years as a Fitness and Wellness instructor at West Chester University. He has vast experience coaching various youth soccer teams. Chris teaches after school classes such as hockey, rollerblading, biking, ball sports & fitness classes. He has also held personal training & group training positions for adults as well as intramural and after school classes for children. Chris has trained at various Cross fit facilities, participated in obstacle course racing and rides and races roads, gravel & trail for a local bicycle team. Chris was named Elementary SHAPE PA Physical Education Teacher of the year 2018. We are grateful to have Chris on our team!

ANDREW | INSTRUCTOR AT BEAT FITNESS

Coach Andrew has been with Beat Fitness for over two years. He started at the facility as a chiropractic patient with decades long chronic low back and shoulder pain that was unresolved with other alternative and conventional treatments. After receiving Chiropractic care and recommended movement reeducation his spinal and shoulder pain dissipated and has been gone for over 2 years. With the tools and knowledge he gained through Beat Fitness and Dr. Dan’s treatments, he was able to rid himself of his chronic pain and begin coaching others on how to live a pain free lifestyle void of drugs or surgery. In his free time Andrew enjoys all outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking, and snowboarding. To date, Coach Andrew has completed the Pittsburgh, PA Rachel Carson Trail 9 times and is continuing to improve his times and currently doing so pain free without non-contact injury.
